2015 Bowhunter's Extravaganza Schedule of Events

Lancaster Archery Supply’s Bowhunter's Extravaganza set for Aug. 21-22 is the perfect event to gear up for the season.In addition to great deals on just about everything you’ll need, we’ve also got a full slate of activities planned. Friday hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday, we’re open 8 a.m.-7 p.m.Manufacturers’ representatives from several companies – Under Armour, Easton and Beman, to name a few ‑ will be on hand both days to tell you everything you need to know about their products.On Friday night, bring a lawn chair for the Outdoor Film Festival set to begin at 8:15 p.m. Admission is free. The festival features average, everyday hunters on dream adventures, portrayed on the big screen through their artistic visions.Saturday, we’ve got the always-popular auction starting at 9 a.m. on the Lancaster Archery Academy range. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m.Immediately following the auction, there will be a series of seminars and demonstrations.

• Jim Keller of Keller’s Taxidermy will mount a turkey on site.
• Representatives from the Pennsylvania Game Commission will be available to answer all your archery hunting questions.
• The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will talk about elk calling and hunting.
• Representatives from Whitetail Institute will talk about food plots for deer.
• Hunters Sharing the Harvest will tell you how you can donate to needy Pennsylvanians venison from your harvests this season.
• Josh Coffman of Stryker and Excalibur crossbows will present an introduction to crossbows.
• We’ll have food and drinks on site both days, so come out, spend some time and have fun.
