The excitement is starting to build for our 2027 Lancaster Archery Classic. The Classic was already the greatest indoor archery tournament in the country, but for 2027, we have some changes that are going to push the envelope and enhance the experience for all archers.
There are a host of differences we will go over: updates regarding payouts, classes, and eliminations.
Updates
Beginning with the biggest money change, we are doubling the Open Pro class payout from $20,000 to $40,000.
Adding to the payout news, we are MORE than doubling the payouts for Women's Pro and Master's Pro to $10,000. For these two classes, we are doubling the amount of archers that qualify for eliminations from 16 to 32.
The 2027 Lancaster Archery Classic will also have the highest payout for the Men's and Women's Olympic Recurve classes. We also now have the highest payout for the Barebow division, as well as the highest payout for any archer in any Bowhunter division.
We are also excited to announce that we have added a Youth Barebow division to the Classic for 2027.
Perhaps the largest and most exciting change for the Classic, though, is one that will enhance the experience for a whole host of archers. We are adding elimination matches for all divisions throughout the tournament. Every archer will have the opportunity to participate in a Lancaster Archery Elimination Shoot-Off.
