2017 Prime One STX V2 Compound Bow

2017 Prime One STX V2 Compound Bow
Prime introduced its One STX V2 compound bows for 2017. The bows come in two lengths - 36 inches axle to axle and 39 inches. The One STX V2 line is primarily intended for competitive, target archery. They feature 65-percent let-off, which is a lower let-off favored by target archers who like to hold more weight at full draw. They say it gives them a better feel for the bow and their release. The One STX bows feature 82X aluminum, which Prime says is the stiffest aluminum they use in their risers. That stiffness minimizes hand shock at the shot, allowing the archer to hold the bow steady through the release.Other features of the new bows reviewed by Lancaster Archery Supply TechXpert P.J. Reilly include dual, rear stabilizer bushings, a shoot-through riser and Prime's signature parallel cam system that negates cam lean. The 39-inch bow is rated at 323 feet per second, while the 36-inch bow has an IBO rating of 325 feet per second.
