Summer is so close, we can almost smell it. Or, maybe that's just the smell of fresh cut grass.Whatever it is, the weather is perfect for shooting a bow and arrow. When the sun is shining - head outside. If it's raining - shoot indoors.There are plenty of archery activities planned at the Academy in May and June, so be sure to sign up. Pay particular attention to the Recurve Archery Camp June 9-11 with 1988 Olympic gold medalist Jay Barrs; legendary coach Dick Tone; and Tom Stevenson - one of the most talented coaches in the country when it comes to Olympic recurve equipment setup and tuning. If you're a competitor in Olympic recurve, this is a camp you don't want to miss.barrsHere's what else we've got planned during the next two months.ACADEMYARCHERY CLASSESWe’ve got multiple, 6-week classes starting soon in our Experience Archery, and Intermediate Archery courses. Listed below are the start dates and class times. Unless specified, classes are open to all archers age 6 and older. Call (717) 556-1379 for information on any of the activities listed below.EXPERIENCE ARCHERY – ALL AGES:  May 15 and 24, 5-6 p.m.; June 10, 8:30-9:30 a.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m.INTERMEDIATE ARCHERY: May 15 and 24, 6:30-7:30 p.m.; June 10, 10-11 a.m.INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION COURSESLEVEL 1: May 13SPECIAL EVENTSTARGET LEAGUE: A 10-week, indoor target league starts May 17.
