This is a new venture for Lancaster Archery, since the company has never before been a licensing agent."This is something we want to do to better serve our hunting customers," said Chris Scott, Pro Shop manager.Located at 2195-A Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, the Pro Shop will have a dedicated licensing computer and printer at its main checkout register to serve hunters seeking licenses. Pennsylvania's 2017-18 hunting year begins July 1, 2017, but licenses go on sale June 19 to allow deer hunters time to work through the antlerless deer permitting process. Those licenses must be applied for via mail to country treasurers' offices around the state, and applications from Pennsylvania residents will be accepted beginning July 10.Please note that LAS gift cards cannot be used to purchase hunting licenses.
