2018 Hoyt REDWRX RX-1 and HyperForce

Hoyt has introduced its 2018 lineup of flagship hunting bows, which includes the REDWRX RX-1 series and the HyperForce. Describing the bows to LAS TechXpert P.J. Reilly is Hoyt sales representative, Gus Edwards.The RX-1 series is a line of carbon bows that features the RX-1, RX-1 Ultra and RX-1 Turbo. The RX-1 measures 32 inches axle to axle and has a 6-inch brace height and an IBO speed rating of 340 feet per second (fps).The RX-1 Ultra measures 35 inches long and has a 6-inch brace height and an IBO speed rating of 330 fps. The RX-Turbo is 32 inches long and has a 5 7/8-inch brace, with an IBO speed rating of 350 fps.According to Edwards, the REDWRX brand was created to separate Hoyt's carbon line from its aluminum bows. Going forward, Edwards said, Hoyt plans to infuse a great deal of innovation and engineering into its REDWRX line.The HyperForce is an aluminum bow that measures 32 inches axle to axle, and has a 6-inch brace weight, with an IBO speed rating of 340 fps.
