It's no secret that Easton is one of the biggest archery brands in the world. You'd just have to look at their website's About page to get the full scope of what that means:

With that level of history and prestige comes a certain expectation of quality and innovation. Easton has been making innovative, quality arrows for a long time. As far as hunting arrows are concerned, though, there may not be any better than their '5.0' lineup.
A quick glance within archery social media and you will see 5.0s being used consistently across content - and across a wide variety of pursuits. Easton's ACU-Carbon technology and their 5-Point Straightness Test ensure each shaft is durable, uniform, straight, and precise.
They are an incredibly popular arrow to build out for Total Archery Challenge and other 3D shoots. This is primarily because they are the lightest carbon shaft that the folks at Easton have ever produced. The 5.0s come in at 8.4GPI for a 300-spine arrow, 7.5GPI for a 340, and 6.8GPI for a 400 - that's light weight. They are also offered in a 200, 250, and 500-spine, too.
That light weight factor does not mean you can't build out heavy FOC hunting arrows, though. The 5.0s are available in a 'high FOC' 200-spine option to ensure you can maximize speed and accuracy without sacrificing front of center weight when chasing maximum penetration.
The 5.0 system also allows you to build the components of the arrow however you want. You can use the HIT system with or without the Match Grade Collars. They are compatible with standard and Match Grade Halfouts from Easton as well.
With the 5.0 arrow component options, you can have the following weights up front:

The 5.0 arrows are offered in both Match Grade and standard versions. The differences between the two are the straightness tolerances and factory-fletched vanes. The standard arrows come in with a .003" straightness rating compared to the .001" 'Beyond Straight' rating of the Match Grade.
The standard arrows are factory fletched with Bohning Blazer vanes while the Match Grade versions comes with helical AAE Hybrid 26 vanes.
The fletched and bare shaft versions of the Match Grade 5.0s come with the HIT + Match Grade Collar system, while the standard 5.0s are available with stainless steel halfouts or HIT inserts.
