UltraView's New Releases

Ultraview UV Button 2 and Hinge 3

If you dabble in the world of archery in any capacity, you will most likely be very familiar with UltraView. The brand started by Kolby Hanley with a 3D printer in his college dorm room has grown into a mainstay in the universe of compound archery - both in the hunting and competitive realms. A primary driver of this growth and success has been their releases. Both the Button and Hinge lines have been hugely popular for years, and this has led to them being able to collect and understand customer feedback in ways most companies can't - or at least don't. Because of this influx of quality user experience being available to them, they have taken their incredibly famous Hinge 2 and UV Button releases and turned them up to 11.

Upgrades People, Upgrades

The UV Button 2 was released to much acclaim earlier this year, and for good reason. They considered comments from casual archers and pro archers alike, and used that to create a release that had an improved internal mechanism, a much wider range of tension and travel adjustment, more repeatable and 'grippy' ergonomics, and a shorter head compared to the original UV Button. This resulted in a excellent, market-leading thumb button release that excelled in all the ways the original did, and excelled in all the ways the original didn't. The customizable finger attachments, thumb pegs, and thumb pad - as well as the loop retainer and lanyard hole - ensured this release was on everyone's wish list.

Fast forward a few months and UltraView brought forth the Hinge 3 - the latest evolution of their very popular Hinge line. Much like with its sister release - the UV Button - the Hinge 3 was born of feedback from users like you and me. This ensured that it checked all the boxes for improvements that archers were looking for, all while making it even more streamlined, durable, and reliable than ever before. The Hinge 3 utilizes the same finger bed grooves, shape, and optional finger attachments and extras as the UV Button 2 without sacrificing any ergonomics that allow the hinge system to operate comfortably in your hand. They went to a single-moon design for simplicity of reliability and the hook-swap system that changes your click length is simple, fast, and reliable. Their micro-adjust system for travel also includes a laser engraved scale on the body of the release to maximize precision in your adjustments. The same internal system hardware upgrades are present on both the Button 2 and the Hinge 3, as well.

Both of these are exceptional releases for their category, but they have an extra-special party trick that you may have picked up on, too. If you hold these releases side by side, you will notice they have the exact same profile. This was designed specifically by the engineers at UltraView to ensure that you could use these releases interchangeably without changing draw length or anchor point. This allows effortless swapping between the practice range, a local 3D shoot, your high country hunt, and the firing line without missing a beat.

Each of these releases are also available in a lightweight aluminum and heavy brass body as well as in standard and x-large sizes. This allows the archer to choose the best fit and feel for their style and preference.
